DVD-5 or DVD-9?

This database includes 35400 movies and technical details of DVD movies. Currently the database includes the DVD layer details of most of the movies -- i.e. whether the movie is a dual-layer DVD-9 movie or a single-layer DVD-5 movie, whether the movie is a "flipper", and so on.

The information can be helpful when determining if a movie can be fitted to a single DVD-R disc or if it has to be compressed.

For instructions on how to backup your DVDs, please see the following guides:
Copy DVD to DVDR using DVD Decrypter (DVD-5)
Copy DVD to DVDR using DVD Shrink (DVD-9)

To search the movies, simply enter any number of keywords for the movie and select the correct DVD region from the drop-down menu.
