Output Options

I personally have always preferred to output everything to a folder on my HDD so I can burn it later with my favorite burning suite. If you are the same, then select Hard Disk Folder as your Destination. If not, then check the other options for your output and select accordingly.

Select a target folder that is empty and on a Disk where there is enough space for the entire output.

The Process

Click the Burn button to begin the encoding process. The amount of time it will take depends on the length of your input DVD movie and the quality options that you selected, but Nero Recode does encode to Nero Digital rather fast.

When it is done it will be saved into your output folder or it will begin burning, whatever your output options were.

That's pretty much it, see how easy that was? ;-)

Finally

This guide should have been enough for any newbie to easy follow the process of converting a DVD to Nero Digital. Also, I hope it gave some of you an idea of what Nero Recode 2 looks like and how you use it. If you have any problems or questions, please visit our Discussion Forums.
