Site update - March 16th 2010

AfterDawn.com has been updated! In addition to renewing the layout of the site we have also speeded up things considerably. The new version has been tested on our Finnish site for several months, and during the testing we have managed to improve the new version even further.

You can now enjoy this new layout at English AfterDawn.com and English Discussion Forums as well! We have also introduced new sections to the site, and re-arranged things a bit.

Read more about the update and let us know what you think!

How to Convert multiple files types to DVD with DVDSanta

DVDSanta is a nice piece of software that allows you to complete various tasks. Firstly it allows you convert your video files to DVD. It supports many formats including AVI, WMV, MPG, ASF, RealVideo etc.. In just a few simple steps, you can convert your files to DVD with DVDSanta, it will even author your DVD and then you can use the built in burning tool to burn it. It will also convert your audio into MP2 format.

Introduction & Requirements

DVDSanta - This is a fully functional demo of DVDSanta, it will never expire, but will leave a watermark on your video. To get full use of this program without a watermark you will have to purchase a serial for it.

You will need enough free space for the conversion. Remember a DVD-R can store up to 4.36GB. In this guide I am going to use an XviD AVI file as my input file for conversion. The same method I will use for the AVI file works for all supported filetypes. So we can now continue to begin the process.
