Using and Maxing Out Speeds With µTorrent



This is an extensive, but simple to follow guide for using uTorrent (aka µTorrent) , a very powerful BitTorrent client. By following each of the steps in this guide, you will be able to max out downloading speeds for your connection. There is also a full introduction to BiTorrent in general here.



Getting Started



AfterDawn's BitTorrent FAQ- AfterDawn's BitTorrent FAQ is a good place to start if this your first time using torrents or you can just jump ahead to the next page of this guide which gives you a nice introduction to the world of torrents.

µTorrent- Download the latest version of uTorrent here at AfterDawn and install it using the simple steps provided and finally when the installation is complete, run it. Note: I am using uTorrent 1.6.1 for this guide as it is the last version before uTorrent was purchased by the folks at BitTorrent (which happens to work for the media companies).
