I brought one thinking it was a S panel but ended up being a C panel, honestly its not as bad as alot of people make it out to be. When i first got it out of the box the colours looked god awful, but about half an hour later once it had warmed up. WOW! it looked great, about the light bleed at the bottom i mostly game and surf the net so i dont notice it at all, the only time i reckon you would notice it is if your watching a wide screen movie and the picture doesnt expand to the full screen. But all in all, probably one of the better 22" out there at the moment. Coming from a 19" crt it doesnt seem all that big i wouldve gone to a 24" widescreen but the price jump between the 22" and 24" is huge.

I just got this monitor a few weeks ago and like many others - searched for reviews and found alot of talk about the S model and A - and now a C model etc. and was worried - so i ended up buying it bestbuy instead of online just in case i got a bad one - they had a S model on display and it looked so so - its because bestbuy didnt have to set up rigth - there was one left - i took it -
its a C model - i love the size - the colors are very good - i did have problems - turned out to be my video card drivers - once i got that fixed - its been working fine since - its not perfect - nothing is - for the price its very good - i dont have a big problem with the backligth bleeding - i lowered my brightness to 20% and its still very good and really helped with the blacks - contrast i have on 70% and sharpness is on 20% - i cant complain for the price - if you really want perfection in all areas - you will need to spend double if not more in price - this is the sweet spot for price and size and Quality - i wouldnt worry too much about the model Numbers - S, A, C -- maybe the A was bad - i dont know - but i think they are shipping out the C and S - i got the C and its very nice - i wont be bringing it back - and i sure anyone would be happy with it also - the only thing is with the color is at the bottom of the screen its lighter - more brigther and as you look higher and on top the color is darker - - but not a big deal - you wont even notice if unless you have a solid background color on the screen - and only with some solid colors - so i wont sweat it - its worth looking at - and i like the base - it turns almost all the way around - i have mines in a montior stand anyway so the height is good for me -

I just picked this LCD the other day and luckily I got an "S" model. I am quite impressed to the quality of HD images and the overall performance of it.

I am honestly an old school CRT type person but had to upgrade as my old 21" died and could not find a good replacement locally.

The price was a bit steep for me since I am used to PC show prices...I don't live in an area any more where they are held so I had to bite the bullet and do my best at an Office Depot that price matched a competitor as well as their coupon.

Main reasons I picked it up was the size (+ it being widescreen), performance and warranty (3 years in US)!

Samsung is hard to beat in LCD Monitors! Only one that matches close is LG.
