First Core 2 Duo to really make the brand stand out. An excellent processor.

Its a little expensive now though, as the E6750 is quite a bit cheaper.

I had mine for a while with an 8800GTX. Stock speeds were fast enough for games, but there might be limitations in newer ones.

Overclocks easily. I had mine at 3.4GHz for ~6 months before I sold it and upgraded to an E6750.
