I've gone through two of these, the headphone jack dies after less than a year of constant use. This was also an issue with the 5G, which I had to have replaced on many occasions.

I hate having to put up with the Genius Bar, but had to make multiple trips just to get use out of the thing.

iTunes is a nice bit of software, stable, easy to use, but the Music Store feature is bull. I'm not paying anywhere near the price of a CD for a bunch of MP3's ripped at 256KBPS.

On the plus side, the iPod can hold a whole bunch of crap-quality MP3's, and a fair amount of proper rips.
I also liked the interface, fairly easy to navigate, nice organization ability.

This iPod is AWESOME. I can watch movies, listen to music, browse photos and it's so easy to use aswell. I give it a 12/10, it's perfect for anyone. But of course I didn't pay for it myself but instead got it for free from www.tinyurl.com/iLikeFreeStuff but it's still a good item nevertheless.

I had the option of going with the Classic or the Touch, and I went with the iPod Classic.

Because the price of the Touch, I thought it might not really be worth it because I listen to a lot of musics. I download my music by albums, so the Touch's hard drive would not be very practical.

The Classic I have is very good. I've only had one problem, and the problem wasn't even anyone else's fault but mine. I was running a lot with it, and I guess I shook something inside, so it wouldn't turn on. But all I had to do was reset it.

I like the look of the iPod too. I don't know much about the smudges and stuff that I hear about all the time on other reviews, but I just bought the ZAGG Invisible Shield (Full Body) and I put it in a Marware Sportsgrip so it won't break when I drop it.

The music quality in the iPod Classic is good, and the cover flow feature is impressive. This product is just a must-have if you really want to be able to listen to a lot of music and keep it on your MP3 Player as well.
