Joost has decided to scrap its own inline chat client and instead join with Meebo, the popular cross-platform chat service that supports all notable IM clients including MSN, Yahoo Messenger, AIM, Google Talk, ICQ and Jabber.
Although Meebo is browser-based, and Joost normally takes up the full screen, the company has said it will integrate the service as layer on top of the application which will eliminate the need to switch to the browser.

Fcuk Joost!
joox.net let users upload, stream and download movies, music and TV programs. Users determine what is to be viewed as opposed to joost's antiquated choices. Just go to the Paramount Film Channel to see what I mean.

I hope this works out for them seeing how they are new to the market and if they make the right connections it will all work out for them.
