Quote: The new bundle will have a "gunmetal grey" colorway console, a copy of the game, and "very, very Limited edition" packaging, according to Sony.
Anyone know if this will be an 80GB version that has PS2 back-wards compatibility?

So any words on how much is the gun metal gray PS3 is? How limited is it? How do you pre-order one? I'm assuming the DS3 in the MGS PS3 is also gun metal gray?

No, it's a very easy process. There's a bay on the side of the PS3. You simply undo a couple screws and the HDD pops out.
You need to make sure it's a 2.5" HDD though. Also if you want to save everything on your current HDD, use the back-up feature. This backs everything up to an external USB HDD. Once you have your new HDD in place, you can use the restore feature to put everything back onto your new HDD.

Thanks! i did some digging and looks like there's no pre-order information yet. I'm in for one at $500, even if it's the 40gb version...

for those who were wondering this is what it looks like
If I am able to get my hands on one I'll be very happy that I waited to get a ps3.

Well this is a VERY VERY LIMITED EDITION PS3, so I'm guessing it will be like absolutely rare, I want to get another ps3... but The chances of getting this one is rare... If I could get this one and the chances are high then ye, I would get me another ps3.

Just asked two different Gamestop about this LE bundle and nope... They do not have them for pre-order (actually they don't even know the gun metal bundle even existed). Read couple of posts from Engadgets and nope, no one seems to know where to pre-order this thing.
