This IS a great site. I don't get to post much because 1. I work alot of hours and 2. most question are answered so fast by all here. BUT I do read quite alot of the post and pass the info along to friends and family who are in need. I have sent dozens of friends to this site because of the wealth of information that is shared here.
1,000,000 post is alot of information shared freely. Pretty cool.

Efforts are currently underway by the renowned-if-elusive System Administrator's Resident Guru dRD to unearth the 1,000,000th- and-1st posting.

Once identified, AfterDawn will be awarding a large bag of candy to the lucky contributer!

So, we apparently announced the 1M few hours too early, but this is due how the post counters work -- due the technical and server limitations, automatic counters don't remove all the "invalid" messages from figures, but are close enough. The post above by kivory666 is counted in a way that all posts deleted/hidden threads are removed, posts in non-public forums are removed, deleted/hidden posts are removed and then the millionth message has been scanned (took 5 minutes for database to run that query..).

But yep, congrats kivory666 for making the 1,000,000th post to our forums :-)

dammit! that guy is a freakin brain surgeon!! he can afford to buy his own damn lollipops!!

how about for the sheer joy of being the guy that made the 1 millionth post, he buys all the mods and admins and the boss a nice box of lollipops :) (or vodka, whichever)

well, i'm glad that my contribution of the 1,000,000th post here on AfterDawn basically summarizes the Taiyo Yuden mantra i've been preaching round on here~ :) that post was solely to help the member distinguish between GENUINE/AUTHENTIC Taiyo Yudens from the fakes~!

@darthnip, well, becoming one of my patients, perhaps i might consider prescribing you some Grey Goose rather than typical pharmaceutical medication~ :) if you ever in my neck of the woods, i have PLENTY of Grey Goose, Level 1, and Belvedere here at my house :) take your pick and make your doctor's visit quite enjoyable~
