I just wanted to thank you, our users, for making last month our best month ever in terms of traffic. AfterDawn.com and all our sidekicks (MP3Lizard.com, Dawnload.net and our forums) gathered total number of over 4,000,000 page impressions in August. And normally August is one of the "slowest" months in terms of traffic, because of the holidays.
We had over 800,000 unique visitors in last month and slightly over 1,250,000 visits. Our number of registered members is now at 24,000. Obviously this has some costs as well -- traffic you guys generated to our servers, was around 400GBs in last month with almost half a million software downloads and 50k MP3 downloads. Oh, and page imps don't mean "hits" -- hits are the thingy that includes all image loads, etc -- if you must know, we had something around 55M "hits" in August.
As you can imagine, our growth has been amazing during the year 2002 -- I remember that back in December, 2001 we told that we first time ever reached 1M page imps a month limit and now we have already quadrupled that number.
Anyway, just wanted to post our stats to everybody who might be interested how much traffic site like ours gets and to thank you, our users. Thanks!
