Yamaha joins the DVD recordables 'plus-team'

Our contact at Yamaha informed us that they will be joining the DVD+RW alliance in the near future. According to our source Yamaha is about to introduce their DVD+RW drive in the next CeBIT, or atleast they hope to do so. The technical specifications of the drive have not been released yet.

OMG you have a contact in Yamaha!!! Wooow!! but FYI it's already known for a very very long time that Yamaha is taking the DVD+RW side: http://www.cdfreaks.com/news2.php3?ID=4962

Man, plus rw is going to win just by flooding the market with products. People don't know there is another format. Guess we will know by Q3 2003 what format is going to win.
