The last version of the Nero 5.5 generation was supposed to be the .54, but now a .56 has surfaced on an Ahead Software server. As usual, Ahead provides no changelog for this update.

They probably added support for some new dvd-writers.. Well, they should since mine wasn't supported.

There is another dowload links for Nero551056.exe. Try it if you can't get it from ftp://ftp4.Nero.com/Nero551056.exe. It is ftp://ftp.Nero.com/philips/Nero551056.exe.

I didnt ever think they would support the older version any more, now with version 6 out and running. Good to hear that they are still supporting there older versions.
