Chinese official estimates 3-5 generations to clean up IP enforcement

Chinese official estimates 3-5 generations to clean up IP enforcement On Thursday a senior Chinese intellectual property enforcement official made a statement essentially indicating that China's intellectual property (IP) enforcement problems aren't really anyone else's business, and that other countries shouldn't politicize it.
"Is IPR protection a problem? Yes, it is. But is it as serious as some say? Not necessarily. To a greater degree, it's hyped-up, politicized. We cannot accept that," said Tian Lipu, head of the Chinese government's intellectual property rights enforcement, responsible for cracking down on piracy.

He also compares China's current situation with that of countries like the Britain or the U. S. in the past, saying "How long did it take developed countries? 300 years in the case of countries like Britain, or 200 years in the United States," he said. "One generation is not enough here. If you ask me, I estimate it will take three to five generations." He added "In fact, if China does not do well, the biggest victim will be China itself." That's a statement that IP holders will certainly agree with.

In the end though, Tian says the Chinese government isn't worried about a U. S. WTO complaint against them for lax IP enforcement. He said "I think China is not scared about this. The facts will prove our point of view."

If it was of their grand interest, the projected time frame wouldn't be as long.

china uses water from underneath their surface to produce what they produce everyday
(wich will be almost none in the near future cuz they already broke the water cycle so they won't have any water in like 20 or 30 years)
BIg factories are now located, and more chips means less space for cows or rice or food wich make chinese farmers to produce more than what they can make so?? isnt that better from a tech side but fromo the earth side no!
If they keep on doing this in 200 years there won't be china ,They will make the world's economy unstable cuz they'll have the money but not food,=> so at the end u'll end up paying 10x or 15x what you pay now, cuz imagine 1300 million ppl hungry? will the the world be able to handle that?
if u think there's a lot of water it's is gonna probably last longer why should i care?? well let me tell u that all the food u and i eat everyday taks about 2000 liters of water to make? plus the water u use in the bathroom plus your jacuzzi. china is gonna end up bad whye do they even make these statement .... maybe this has no relation but i just hate what is happenning now over there my uncle lived there for 8 years managing a farm they had to move their locations all the time, and they have sand storms where there used to be forests. plus al gore just said it and who is al gore to talk to about this stuff mmm he just won a nobel price???

any grammar problem i'm peruvian Peru a little country in south america so this isn't my native language.

Did you get lazy and not read all of his message? He apoligized for the poor English due to the fact that he is Peruvian and English is not his first language. I doubt that he is smoking anything, but I'm not so sure about you.
