Hulu CEO releases numbers, including expected revenue for 2010 Hulu CEO Jason Kilar has posted some interesting numbers for the popular streaming service today, as of the end of October.
The service has 30 million monthly users with users watching 260 million content streams. An individual TV episode is counted as content stream.

Hulu has 800 million ad impressions and 352 ad partners.

The big number is revenue. Hulu is on-track to earn $240 million for 2010, up from $25 million in 2008 and $108 million last year.

Hulu, a joint service by NBCU, Fox and ABC, just started Hulu Plus, a $10-a-month premium version of the service which offers back catalogs of available TV shows.

Really, who gives a damn about the networks these days. At least I can relive the classics on TV during the 70's-80's that made TV what it isn't today, and I know more than one person agrees with me on this. Hell, the cable companies can't even agree with major TV networks on what they want on their network without some fussing/complaining about money issues. Long live Hulu! Besides, watching TV shows on the Internet is a hell of a lot cheaper anyway.

Hmmmm..............10 bucks for back catalogs?

Can you say www.torrentz.com for back catalogs?? (Or any torrent for that matter)

2 words for Hulu and their "charging" what all of us already pay up the whazzoo for via cable.
