'Inception,' 'Knight and Day' are first Blockbuster kiosk 'premium' rentals

Beginning today, the blockbuster hit "Inception," as well as "Knight and Day" starring Tom Cruise will be available as "premium" rentals via Blockbuster Express DVD kiosks, 28 days earlier than htey will be available via Netflix or Redbox kiosks.
That being said, "premium" comes at a price, $3 for the first night's rental, compared to $1 from Redbox. After the first night, the price drops to $1 per night.

Redbox, Netflix and Blockbuster Express (run by NCR) all have rental agreements in place with the major Hollywood studios that block most new releases from being placed in kiosks (or available online) for the first 28 days of their release, in exchange for significantly reduced pricing.

For now NCR is testing the "premium" rentals in just 900 of their kiosks around the U.S.

From all the major studios, only Disney and Paramount offer day-and-date DVD rentals to Netflix and Redbox, with no window.

Could this be it, for redbox? LOL! Cause I'm sorry, but rather than wait 30 days, I'm gonna go to the blockbuster Kiosk! I think redbox should do something similar if allowed. If they did, I'd prefer Redbox. It's in a desirable location ;)
With the netflix price increases, netflix should be renting new releases NOW, LOL! I'll get over it...

I'll wait until Rebox has Inception, I wouldn't even consider Knight and Day with pukeface cruise.

Quote: "Redbox, Netflix and Blockbuster Express (run by NCR)", NO I don't think so! Redbox and Blockhead may use NCR vending machines Netflix does not, plus I wouldn't state the other two as being run by NCR, like NCR calls the shots. Target and other stores use NCR cash registers so are they run by NCR too?

No I don't, he drives me nuts but I do like a couple of his movies including Minority Report. As time goes on it is harder for me to watch him and the dumb statement of “I'll shoot myself and then her” in this movie really grinds on me and shows his arrogance so I won't be watching this movie. He really turned my stomach when he was on Opera but it had been building up for some time prior to that. I never have thought he was a good actor and his ego is enormous besides other stuff I won’t discuss here.

I have friends though that thinks he is great so it is possible that I could end up seeing this flick I’ll just have to drink heavy. LOL
