Internet Explorer 9 coming March 14th Microsoft has announced today, via blog post, that Internet Explorer 9 will be available on March 14th.
The release candidate of the updated browser was launched at the end of February.

Microsoft has transformed IE9, adding a URL/Search bar like Chrome, and going or a "minimalist" look, leaving more room for actual browsing.

IE9 users will also be able to pin sites and bookmarks to the Windows taskbar, use a built-in download manager (for the first time ever) and see hardware acceleration for HTML5 video.

ActiveX filtering and other security features have been added, as well.

While most of the IE9 features were visible in the Release Candidate, but the company promises they "have a few surprises left."

Chrome is nothing special and in fact is way to open, I won't use it any more. I like Firefox, IE7, IE8, Avant Browser and even Orca Browser but IE9 is really bad I've demo'd it for a couple of days and removed it due to:

1) SLOWNESS Ė Microsoft is monitoring your surfing habits and the time it takes to bring up a website. This severely slows down your surfing especially when you have an Internet Security program running. If you disable the security program add-on then surfing speeds up but now you are wide open to attack from the web which is not the correct answer. Once again MS is trying to do too much.

2) INFLEXABLE UI Ė The new toolbar structure canít be configured the way you want it. Microsoft in their normal infamous know it all fashion does not allow you to change the size or move the Address bar and it is extremely small which makes you think why even show it then. Also there is seemingly no Search bar either.

3) FILE DOWNLOADS Ė Microsoft is trying to be like Firefox in this manner as you get a big banner at the bottom of the surfing window when you invoke a download which sits there until you clear it manually. You can also choose to bring up a separate UI with all downloads in it exactly like FF. If you like FF this may be great but Iíve never liked that about FF and if I did want that I might as well just use FF. There also is now where in the IE configuration to turn this nonsense off like you use to be able to with IE8.

4) ACTIVX-JAVA BETA ISSUE Ė Some buttons on certain websites donít show but if you move your cursor over them they appear and work fine. Other sites the buttons may show but arenít handling their association to the action they perform, they donít work. This is a Beta issue and something they will fix of course.

I canít see using IE9 in the future unless they clear up these issues IE8 is much better than IE9 in all manners.

Take a look at Pwn2Own and see how fast IE got Owned, and see how it's been Owned every year. Also, take note of how neither Chrome or FF were cracked. Chrome's owned since it got released, and FF has held up the last few years. Plus, IE9 isn't XP compatible, and when Microsoft finds a flaw, no matter how severe, they only provide a hotfix until the next Tuesday, which seriously pisses me off, seeing how they could just auto-update like Chrome does.

That is totally not true FF had big problems when 3.6 was released and that is not the first time. Your wrong.

I'm talking about the contest

Well according to the results I saw Chrome was the hold out and everything else was hacked, even FF. But I can tell you that Chrome isn't as good as the hackers in this contest claim it is, as I've used Chrome and had it cracked even with its Sandbox approach. It is buggy as hell and maybe that is why they had problems as Google is poor at standards and their approach is all over the place, they make MS look good in their structure changes.

Chrome is a nightmare in my opinion and I wonít use it, besides they always have a hook open to your system. I donít need them following my personal habits more than they are already so I would rather use a more private browser.
