Microsoft unveils Star Wars Xbox 360 Kinect bundle LucasArts and Microsoft have just unveiled the Limited Edition Kinect Star Wars bundle, which includes an R2-D2-themed console.
Additionally, the bundle has a white Kinect sensor (normally black) and a gold controller.

The console will make R2-D2's beep when turned on, or when a game is inserted.

Finally, the console will have a 320GB HDD.

LucasArts says the limited edition console will go on sale sometime in 2011 for $450 and include the Star Wars Kinect game.

They should have included lightsaber to hold so that you feel like less of an idiot when someone sees you playing...not that any of the people who buy this will ever take it out of the shrink wrap...

I like the look of the controller, not so much the console. I cant see it selling to anyone other than SW Fanatics

I wouldn't pay for one (or any 360 that can't be JTAG'd), but I had to admit it looks better than the 360 normally does, and I'm not a big star wars fan.

I agree, bound to stay shrink wrapped & be traded for ever sillier amounts of money on ebay etc over the coming years.

(but it would be pretty amusing if they released it a few more times as a LE as SW gets released & rereleased in various versions in the coming years)
