Want porn on the iPad? Use the Cinemax app of course

Written by Andre Yoskowitz @ 15 Aug 2011 1:11 User comments (7)

Want porn on the iPad? Use the Cinemax app of course Apple has allowed the Cinemax "Max Go" app into the iOS app store this week.
Making that news notable is the fact that the app allows for streaming of Cinemax's more "adult" TV shows, the after-hours "Skinemax" programming.

Apple normally does not allow any adult programming in the app store, and the app even has a warning on the open that there are "frequent/intense sexual content or nudity" not suitable for those under 17.

The adult content is in the "Max After Dark" tab of the app.

Critics of Apple claim the company gives preferential treatment to larger companies in terms of app submission, even with apps that clearly "bend" the rules like the Max Go app.

Who the hell is Apple to be censoring legally obtainable material anyway?

"OOoooo... we don't want to be associated with the notion that people have genitalia...", squeaks the androgynous clerks & fecal pushers from within the bowels of the Apple machine.

For gods sake, put it out there, sell it & reap the financial rewards. What? They don't need the income all of the sudden? And what about that unholy yonic masterpiece they're planning on building in Cupertino? Porn indeed...

I couldn't agree more, but it doesn't suprise me the way they try and control the media you buy or already own if you use itunes.
Is there a stand available for it so you are free to use both hands while you are pleasuring yourself?

Apple doesn't have porn because it is hard to jerk off with your hands tied behind your back.

@llongtheD & KillerBug...

ROFLMAO... and any other long winded acronym alluding to hilarity.

I think it's hilarious that the app store limits porn when there is a browser that gives you access to hundreds and hundreds of sites with all the porn in the world. Some sites, like PinkVisualPad are specifically made for the iPad with no app store necessary, so what exactly is Apple accomplishing here with their censorship?
