Not bad but what they don't tell you about HTC smart phones will kill your plans.

1. if you don't shut off network data on HTC smart phones they dial home every hour to verify your software and use data.

sorry to say this is true make sure your HTC is on wifi at home on at a hotspot.

2. if a applications requires access to the network it can turn back on your network data and still dial home.

sorry true again.

Let me explain what happened to me

Me and my mom saw this great deal for 1 cent HTC smart phones so we signed up we had 30 days to decide to keep the service to stop the service and return the phones in just 2 days we returned the phones why i turned off the wireless and even the network data on purpose not to use up my data plan apon doing so i told my d link extreme gaming router to watch for wifi connections because i had had the wifi on on the htc before and i shut it off because i didn't want it to use data no matter what i launched angry birds and what did i witness my router reported the wifi on the phone turned on and sending data without my permission so i got rid of the phone because after what i got was a shock i got a bill for 0.00 dollars because i returned the phone before my first bill but the cell phone provider had to send a bill anyways really stupid the bill said and i quote my billing statement would have been 400.00 because the news app for the phone was dialing home to india even though the company is based in the u.s.

So don't trust HTC unless you have some way of monitoring your phone.
