Rumor: iPad 3 launching next month

Written by Andre Yoskowitz @ 02 Feb 2012 2:48 User comments (13)

Rumor: iPad 3 launching next month According to one report, the upcoming iPad 3 will launch very early March for release at the end of the month.
Additionally, the same report says Apple is planning a separate "unusual media event" for next week, with an unknown reason. Loop Insight, on the other hand, has since refuted the claim on the media event. For now, it will remain strictly speculation.

The iPad 3 is expected to be slighter thicker than previous models in order to have an high-resolution Retina Display at 2048x1536.

Furthermore, the device will house a larger battery that could add an extra 5 hours of battery life. Finally, the most anticipated update is the quad-core A6 processor and the ability to connect to AT&T and Verizon 4G LTE.

And again.............Apple's brutal environmental irresponsibility in bringing out a new replacement EVERY GD F'ING YEAR!

So what happens to all the IPad 2 and 1s of the losers that insist on trading up an inordinate amount of time?

Landfill, shitcanned. Phoooey!

As much as I hate defending apple I seriously doubt ipads (1 or 2) will be filling land fills any time soon unless they are broken. Its and extremely popular device that resell for quite a premium, worth it or not.

you can say the same about all the android phones and tablets that are saturating the market. Just happens overtime Also, like the guy said above me I don't think anyone would throw one away when you can sell it for a high price.

I agree we can say the same about android they release something new every 3 months. iPad still will sell for a good amount of money. Innovation needs to continue to get better products and better price.

Are you F*ng kidding me???? Apple is one of the most environmentally conscious firms at least since recently.....and the product life cycle they have is pretty long compared to other crap like Android devices!!! For example ;-)

No you are not F*ng kidding anybody, you Crapple Fanboy.
Here is an education for you dumb A$$, Android does not make any hardware at all, you stupid F*ck. But Android is such an ausome open OS, that everyother hardware mfg. in the world wants to use it in there products. How would you know how envronmentally conscious Apple is. They are just like all the other mfg., Apples products are made in 3rd world countries, with slave labor ($5.00 per day), and no environmental laws what so ever.

Hmm... Let's see... I was at the pawn shop here 2 days ago. Poor student brought in a Mac Book Pro 15 laptop she bought brand spankin ass new at the student book store for over a grand (I swear I think she paid about $1700 at least, back in late August of 2011) trying to make some money for her rent.

Say what you will about pawn shops, they use the internet as a means to get pricing like the rest of us.

6 month old computer, still had all the plastic, wires, books, box, you name it & the best they could do to BUY IT was $200. You CrApple fans know you can get the same thing shipped for $250 off ebay (used of course), +/- $100.

Yeah I know, possibly a bit more money, memory, blah, blah, remember, pawn shops mark stuff up to make a profit. My point is Apple wants to sell you computers like jewelers do.

Jewelery has a 1000% mark-up on it. That's right. That necklace you spent $1000 on? It's actual worth is only $100. The ONLY exception is the metal used. So you might want to use this process of elimination to your next Apple device.

So, no... Your CrApple iPud 1 is not like a Honda Civic. It may be 'selling' for $450 new, but it isn't going to hold onto the value like you think it does; nor does it mean it's 'worth' it. Sentimental maybe, certainly not monetarily.
