Rumor: 10 million Galaxy S III already pre-ordered? According to Eldar Murtzain.
The well-connected blogger has said today in a tweet that the upcoming device already has 10 million pre-orders around the globe.

Making that number notable is the fact that it took Samsung about 5 months to sell 10 million Galaxy S II, and the device is a huge success in the smartphone world.

The alleged specs of the new smartphone is that it will be smaller and narrower than its predecessor at 131 x 64 x 8 mm. The device will weigh just 0.27 pounds, as well.

Featured specs are a large 4.7-inch Super AMOLED Plus display with 1280 x 720 resolution, a 1.5Ghz quad-core Samsung processor, 1GB RAM, Android 4.0.x, dual-cameras (12MP/1.3MP), 32GB internal storage and a decently sized 1750 mAh battery.

Morreale, Robert is the biggest Apple fanboy we have here at Afterdawn. That is the only reason he wrote "dopes."

how can there be 10 million pre-orders when they haven't even announced specs, etc? I am skeptical. ---Chikn

I cant wait for this phone. I've been wating anxiously to ditch my iphone. Nothing wrong with it, its just boring. I'm hoping that most of the specs are true. I rather have a 5250 exynos paired with a maili 604 gpu, but I realize that its too early this year to incorporate that into a phone. I wonder if they will make a GS3+ later this year.

Haha Yeah robertmro every ones dope for pre-ordering a dope phone.

I welcome you into the cult of the droidites plutonash :)

As long as they dont do a HTC and build in a non removable battery they have already got my sale.

+Plazma247, Exactly my thought. I want this phone badly. I will possibly even switch carriers for it.
But, they CANNOT have a non-removable battery.

What on earth does htc thinking (well make the phone thinner) but a the end of the day i know many people who love their SII as you can slap in a 3000+MAh Cell and actually get some decent runtime. HTCs, firstly one size battery slot and then you cant remove the battery at all to me says we have no idea what a large number of people want (power + runtime)!!! LORD help us if Samsung follow suit, although i doubt they will.

Someone actually tried to say that this battery is some new kind that won't ever "need" to be replaced.
I'll believe that when I see it.
Currently, with my EVO 4G, I have two stock batteries and an extra large battery.

10 million? Yeah right! They can blow that number out of their ass, cause there's no way in hell that they can achieve that number, hell, even Apple can't achieve that number, so what makes them think that they can? Somebody's in dream land for sure!

However underwhelmed the initial response to its launch may have seemed, the iPhone 4S just broke Apple's sales records. The company's latest smartphone, which was unveiled last week, sold over 1 million units in its first 24 hours of being available to pre-order
When apple manages to sell 1 million in under 24 hours when its sales were opened up to public pre-order is it not possible that Samsung are quoting carrier pre-orders here and not public pre-orders.

Im not Apple Fan but I think 10 million pre-ordered is too much.

I've been hawking over this phone for months now............NO SIGN of any means to "pre-order" so I believe this to be emphatic bullsh*t!!!

As for Robertmro...............I see he doesn't reply. Hmmmm..........

I am so anti Apple and need only to point out one tiny thing to Apple junkies..........Apple is and was intended for those that are technologically inept. Not that there is anything wrong with that but recognize.........Apple is self diagnosing, super easy to use and meant for the very young or the very old. Techs almost NEVER use Apple products.........PERIOD! Keep using that mindless garbage Apple cult members and maybe you'll be able to phone home when on your planet that your leader takes you to in the spaceship that doubles as Apple headquarters.
