Msnbc.com is now NBCNews.com

NBC News has announced today that they have acquired 100 percent share of msnbc.com and its digital networks from Microsoft.
The site will be rebranded as NBCNews.com

"Some really talented journalists have passed through the doorway of msnbc.com and taken us to the point where we have something that is an outstanding set of properties, and we value them to such a degree that we decided that we wanted to own them outright," added NBC News President Steve Capus.

Charlie Tillinghast, the site's president and publisher, added that the site will hugely benefit from "proper brand alignment between the TV properties and their Web counterparts -- NBC News and NBCNews.com, MSNBC cable and msnbc.com and TODAY show and TODAY.com."

For the time being, MSNBC will still be the same URL, but will reflect the NBC News home page.

I guess it really doesn't concern me since I hardly watch TV anymore.

I guess since they went 200% extremist someone has to buy them out.....

I don't see how any of 'them' can call themselves 'news' organizations anymore. Like Zippy hinted, most of what spills out of their mouths seems so extremist or biased how can anyone make up their own mind anymore or simply just be informed. I.e., just the facts.

Personally, it's been so long since I've watched network news that I was surprised they were even producing it any more.

Call it what it is bro, entertainment news. Hard news dose not make money that's why it on PBS.

I loved MSNBC before 08 then they went crazy left then Lou Dobbs left CNN due to racist Mexicans hating logical and reasonable opinions. He might be on fuax but I can not stand faux and no longer watch TV much anymore, maybe science channel and history not much else worth the commercials.
