Samsung shows off dual-screen flip Android phone, the Hennessy Samsung has unveiled a strange smartphone in this day and age, a flip.
The company has unveiled the Hennessy, a dual-screen flip phone that runs on Android.

On the front is a touch screen and when you flip the phone open there is a another touchscreen and the dialpad.

The device has a 3.3-inch touchscreen with 480x320 resolution and the phone is almost strangely powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core processor. The phone runs on Android 4.1 with Samsung's own TouchWiz.

Additionally, the phone has a small 1500mAh battery, a microSD slot and a 5MP rear camera.

So far, the phone has only been launched for China, but it will work with dual-SIM capability and GSM/CDMA support so it should work almost everywhere.

intriguing...

looks fancy, but functionally, it won't almost do anything special, given that it does not have large screen or high resolution either. for flip phone lovers, good stuff though.

What'll they think of next??

I'm not sure how I feel about this...

Pretty cool, ok its small and the res blows, but its got enought grunt to run a 1080p decode to hdmi for larger screens i guess.?!?!

If you could run both the front and back display at the same time it would make for some intresting two player apps.

If the price is kept low they may win over a whole lot of people still using older phones with same type of keypad for dialing and texting and are extremely uncomfortable with touch screen. depending on weather conditions I have noticed the phones registering keystrokes simply by proximity of the finger, without actually touching the screen!

Not for me thanks I'm waiting for next April when they release there Galaxy 5 waterproof and shockproof

Actually the reports/rumours of a water and shock resistent s5 from very early in the year may actually been the s4 active which hasnt long been released and does this, no one knows until the official specs are given if the s5 will have this. Personally i can live without the waterproofing if its going to mean i end up with a completely sealed phone thats stuck on the stock battery pack. I need a zero lemon cell an if im not able to put one in an s5, i wont be getting an s5...!
