The new Humble Origin Bundle is a killer deal

Written by Andre Yoskowitz @ 15 Aug 2013 3:09 User comments (6)

The new Humble Origin Bundle is a killer deal EA is hoping to bump up sales and downloads of its Origin platform by doing a killer Humble Bundle this week.
By donating whatever you feel is right (starting at $1), you get Dead Space, Crysis 2 Maximum Edition, Burnout Paradise: The Ultimate Box, Medal of Honor, Mirror's Edge and Dead Space 3.

If you pay above the average, currently at $4.76, you also get The Sims 3 (along with two expansion packs in The Sims 3 Starter Pack) and Battlefield 3.

Additionally, you get Steam keys for Dead Space, Crysis 2 Maximum Edition, Burnout Paradise: The Ultimate Box, Medal of Honor, and Mirror's Edge, along with the Origin keys.

As with all Humble Bundles, Origin and Electronic Arts Inc. "are donating their share of the proceeds from this bundle to the following 5 great charities: the Human Rights Campaign; Watsi; the San Francisco AIDS Foundation; the American Red Cross; or the American Cancer Society." A very good cause.

The average is lower than past bundles surprisingly I felt like this one was really a complete steal!

Looking forward to the second rollout, expecting dead space 2, and who knows what else?

Grabbed this when the average was $4.53. The previous bundle wasn't bad either.

My guess is that they are doing this to get more people to use Origin - over 1.1 million bundles sold already. While I would like to see a viable Steam alternative, I don't think I would want that to be EA.

I only came here to say shame on AD for this shameless and blatant paid advertising and trying to lie and say it's news.

So much for Humble Bundle being DRM free. I'll pass on this one because I will in no way support EA or their origin crap.

Lol...generic shooters, not interested EA.

Burnout and Mirror's Edge are not generic shooters.
