Dropbox teams up with Vodafone to give cloud storage access to 400 million wireless customers Dropbox has announced a partnership with the world's largest carrier, Vodafone, in an attempt to jumpstart international growth.
The company hopes that the deal could give Dropbox tens of millions of new international users, an area where it would like to continue to see large growth.

Beginning next month, some of Vodafone's customers will automatically see Dropbox as the default service to back up and sync their content on their Android devices. If you don't have an account, you will need to sign up for a new one, flush with 25GB of free storage space.

Dropbox currently has 300 million users and international customers account for 70 percent of that figure.

Over time, Vodafone will pre-install Dropbox on all new Android handsets sold and will also promote the service for Apple iPhone buyers.
