Jedox has a New Product Manager and a More Effective Development Process
FREIBURG, Germany, November 17 /PRNewswire/ -- - Matthias Krämer has been in the Senior Product Manager job at Jedox Since the Beginning of November. An OLAP Product Development Team in Prague is Joining Jedox Matthias Krämer, the new Senior Product Manager at Jedox AG, the leading provider of Commercial Open Source Business Intelligence and Performance Management Solutions in Europe, is taking over responsibility for product management. He will therefore - at the interface between customers, consultants and the development process - have the responsibility for the development of the Palo Suite, which is used mainly in planning processes, reporting and analysis. Matthias Krämer (42) has many years experience in product development and product management in Business Intelligence Software. Krämer was previously employed with Infor, a competitor of Jedox, as a Product Manager with worldwide responsibility for BI products and their integration within the Infor ERP systems. Matthias Krämer states that his reasons for his move to Jedox AG are as follows: "With Palo being an Open Source Software, combining Excel with additional planning and analysis functions, it has vast market potential. By using Palo Excel users can avoid the dreaded Excel chaos. Palo is the only Open Source BI Solution, that in actual fact is able to operate at 100% as a SaaS and which can be used via Cloud Computing." Jedox is also expanding its Development Department. In Prague, Jedox acquired a full development team that had many years experience in the development of multidimensional databases. The team that has been used to working together was responsible in recent years for the development of the MIS Alea, now the Infor OLAP. Kristian Raue, CEO of Jedox AG, says in relation to the expansion of development capacity: "With the new OLAP specialists we are now improving the expertise of our team of developers. With at the moment almost 30 employees involved in research and development we will be able to continue to consolidate our lead in the market and in technology for Open Source OLAP databases and to continue to increase the pace of development."
