FIBA Europe, the European Basketball Federation, worked with NTT Europe
Online to showcase EuroBasket 2009 which reached a record online audience of
eight million visitors and distributed over four terabytes of data during the
duration of the tournament.

This year's European championship tournament, held in Poland, was
successfully delivered online with a tailored managed hosting solution from

Fans watched live games and caught up with in-depth news, pictures, and
videos on the FIBA Europe website which received a total of 30 million page
views with peak traffic numbers nearing one million on September 9th which
saw the final games of the preliminary round of the competition take place.
