The results of a recent survey show that us Brits like to be active and
in the great outdoors more than ever, with more than a third of people
preferring to take a country walk than have a romantic liaison. It's a shame
then, that for the one in four people who suffer from chafing in the UK,

The survey was conducted by GFK NOP using their Telebus omnibus service
on behalf of Combe International via telephone interviews in 1000 adults aged
16-plus in the UK. The sample of adults interviewed was designed and weighted
to be representative of the UK adult population. Interviewees were asked
seven questions related to their experience of chafing, the activities which
have contributed to it and the activities which they are prevented from doing
because they have chafing. In addition they were asked questions about what
freedom meant for them.
