announcing the development of a new set of solutions to help all banks,
irrespective of payments volumes, manage exceptions and investigations, one
of the most resource-intensive and costly activities for a financial
institution.

The Misys Exceptions & Investigations solution (Misys E&I) will reduce
the costs associated with exception processing while improving operational
efficiency through increased traceability. The solution will be used by any
bank whether they connect directly to SWIFT or indirectly via a service
bureau, MA-CUG or SCORE (when the latter becomes available in 2009). As a
result banks will be positioned to become more responsive to their customers
by resolving any payments and messaging issues more rapidly.

Misys E&I will be developed with the support of SWIFT to provide a
scaleable solution to banks accessing the SWIFT network via its SWIFTNet E&I
service. The solution forms part of the wider Misys strategy to provide a
complete end-to-end payments processing environment.

The solution from Misys offers a clearly defined growth path for banks,
as Barry Kislingbury, Product manager, financial messaging, Misys Banking,
