MANAGEMENT ENGINEERS is Expanding its China Business in Shanghai
DUESSELDORF, Germany, June 29 /PRNewswire/ -- With the acquisition of Abacus Corporation Business Consulting in
Shanghai as of 1st July 2007, MANAGEMENT ENGINEERS [ME] is significantly
extending its involvement in China. Up to now, the internationally-oriented
German management consultancy has been present in Hong Kong with a
representative office.
Abacus - a consulting company founded 15 years ago in China - was
successfully established by the owner Brigitte Wolff. The engineer is an
outstanding expert for the Chinese market with comprehensive industry and
advisory experience. She speaks fluent Chinese and has an excellent network.
Brigitte Wolff brings her company, in which seven Chinese are currently
working as consultants, into MANAGEMENT ENGINEERS CHINA LTD. As a member of
the management board, together with Gerd Möhrke, she will further develop
ME's China business. Gerd Möhrke, with a doctorate in electrical engineering
and industry experience, has worked in a position of responsibility at ME for
ten years, managing projects in various sectors.
Up to now, ME has supported international companies from the
automobile industry, mechanical engineering and the chemicals industry
strategically and conceptually on their entry into the Chinese market. In the
future, ME will also support the on-site operative activities of its clients.
That includes the management of Chinese suppliers, the optimization of
logistics and Supply Chain, the stabilization of production processes as well
as the development of products for the local market, right through to
improvement of sales efficiency.
