Announcing Babel TV. A unique, Simple to Use Device Combining the Benefits of Freeview TV, a Personal Video Recorder and Extremely User-Friendly and Safe Internet Access

CAMBRIDGE, England, October 25 /PRNewswire/ --

- Launch Day Nov 6th 2007 -

Serial entrepreneur and UK Internet pioneer Peter Dawe announces the
launch of Babel TV.

Babel TV is unique. It is a simple to use device that combines the
benefits of a Freeview "set-top-box", personal video recorder and Internet
access. It's an uncomplicated black box aimed at everyone from the
"technology challenged" to the "technical but time poor". It is designed to
be as simple and safe to use and install as an everyday electrical appliance.

DaweVision CEO, Peter Dawe, describes some of the benefits of Babel TV:

"It's simple. Anybody can plug a Babel TV box into a Freeview aerial and
a broadband connection. That's all it takes to be all set to watch, record
and pause Freeview TV. You can watch TV programmes from the Internet, surf
the web and shop online. You can keep in touch with family and friends by
email, write letters and use other office software. You can share and store
photos, play and manage iPod or other MP3 player music, and you can make free
or incredibly cheap Internet phone calls."

With Babel TV box there is literally nothing to worry about. It is
managed remotely by Babel TV's expert technical team. You don't have to think
about backups and viruses. Babel TV even protects you from other members of
the family messing up your files. Copies of all of your files are
automatically backed up and stored at a secure location, so irreplaceable
memories and important documents would even survive a total house fire. Babel
TV provides further peace of mind and parental control because Internet phone
calls can be restricted.

Babel TV is better for the environment and household budgets than using
conventional PVRs and computers. Typical power consumption is 15 watts for a
Babel TV, compared with 150w for a typical computer and 60w for a PVR.

To use all of Babel TV's functions users need a Freeview aerial and a
broadband Internet connection, including the router or modem supplied by
their Internet service provider. Wireless keyboard and pointer are included.
