Satellier Readies for Next Phase of BIM and Workshare Growth With Appointment of Three Key Executives

CHICAGO, November 30 /PRNewswire/ --

- Anthony Flynn, Paul Doherty, AIA, and Robert Mencarini, AIA, Join
Satellier in Key Company Posts

Satellier, a global leader in design support and Building Information
Modeling (BIM) services to the global architecture, engineering, construction
(AEC) industry, today announced the appointment of three key executives to
the company.

Anthony Flynn, former chief marketing officer (CMO) and vice president at
Bentley Systems, Inc., joins the company as CMO and executive vice president
of sales and marketing; industry luminary and veteran Paul Doherty, AIA,
joins as chief technical officer (CTO); and Robert Guarcello Mencarini, AIA,
former client services architect (CSA) at Revit Technology Corporation and
Autodesk Inc., and one of the world's foremost experts on BIM, joins as
director of BIM services.

The executive appointments follow a US$10 million investment by Sequoia
Capital into the company and the June appointment of Stephen Barnes, former
executive vice president of AECOM, as president.

CEO Michael Jansen, comments, "The feedback from architects, engineers,
and contractors is that BIM and workshare services bring them significant
competitive advantage -- they want higher utilization of these technology and
business platforms. We promised in our Sequoia announcement that we would
respond by expanding these services and their global availability. The
executive appointments of Mr. Flynn, Mr. Doherty, and Mr. Mencarini
underscore that commitment and will enable us to advance our lead in BIM and
workshare services."

Mr. Flynn joins Satellier from Bentley, a US$400M provider of software
for the world's infrastructure -- including buildings, roads/railways, and
water distribution. In his five years with the company, he served as director
of marketing for the building organization, as CMO for the company, and, most
recently, as head and vice president of the Bentley DIRECT. In his over
twenty years in high-tech sales and marketing management, Mr. Flynn also
served at startup companies that reached initial public offering (IPO),
including Viewlogic Systems, Inc., and Mentor Graphics.

Mr. Doherty has spent over twenty-two years in the
architecture/engineering/construction (AEC) industry. A registered architect,
he is one of the most sought-after thought leaders and practitioners in the
area of integration of technology, process, and business for AEC.

Most recently, Mr. Doherty was the vice president of Land Development and
Home Production Processes for K. Hovnanian Homes, the sixth largest home
builder in the U.S. While there, Mr. Doherty managed change programs
throughout the organization and was responsible for the development of over
400 communities and quality production of over 20,000 homes.

Along the way, Mr. Doherty has been an advisor to Fortune 500
organizations, government agencies, and numerous AEC firms and institutions.
He has lectured at Harvard University, Yale University, The University of
Hong Kong, Georgia Tech, and Hong Kong Polytechnic Institute. He has been
very active with the American Institute of Architects, serving as Chairman of
the Design Build Professional Interest Area and as member of the Construction
Specifications Institute and the Design Futures Council. Mr. Doherty also
serves on the board of directors for the International Facility Management
Association (IFMA).

Mr. Mencarini is a registered architect and, most recently, was a
principal in charge of production and business development at two
architecture firms. He has over twenty years of experience in architecture
covering a wide spectrum of projects including upscale residential homes,
museums, large-scale health care facilities, biotechnology labs, and
institutional buildings.

In 1999, Mr. Mencarini was recruited for his architectural and technology
expertise into a small startup company called Revit Technology Corporation,
where he served as the company's first CSA. In that role, he managed,
supported, and trained thousands of architects at hundreds of firms around
the world and was instrumental in driving the group's award winning record of
client satisfaction.

Revit was acquired by Autodesk in 2002 where Mr. Mencarini continued in
his CSA role in the New York City area. In 2005, he launched his own
architecture and BIM consulting firms. In these roles, he has created BIM
workshops and training materials, been a contributor and technical editor of
multiple Revit books, and worked as a liaison between customers and the Revit
development team.
