Commerce Decisions Introduces Latest Version of its AWARD Procurement Software

OXFORD, England, December 11 /PRNewswire/ -- Commerce Decisions, a leading e-Evaluation procurement software and
services provider has introduced AWARD V4, the latest release of their
innovative web based software. Over the last five years AWARD has been
deployed on over GBP47 billion of UK, US and European strategic procurement
projects across a wide range of industries.

AWARD v4 introduces a host of new features to address a wide range of
procurement related business issues including post contract supplier review,
compliance audits, gateway reviews, and enabling suppliers to pre-evaluate
proposals before submission. AWARD v4 addresses issues related to an
increasingly complex range of procurement processes such as multi-phased
evaluation and negotiated processes and EU competitive dialogue.

In addition to being designed to provide support for a wide range of
evaluation and review activities the emphasis in AWARD v4 is ease of use,
configuration and maintenance. It has been built in close consultation with
the large and rapidly growing Commerce Decisions user community.

AWARD is a collaborative web-based software solution designed
specifically to support the strategic procurement process from Request for
Information preparation, through proposal evaluation to negotiation, delivery
and post contract review. AWARD is proven to reduce time to contract, improve
value for money and reduce risk. It has been used to support strategic
procurements in a range of commercial and public sectors including utilities,
transport, local government, healthcare, aerospace and defense. These
procurements cover a broad range of activities including the provision of
schools, hospitals, and transport and defense systems across Europe and the
US.

"AWARD v4 builds on previous success with a new simpler user interface
and much greater process support to enable on-going evaluation and reviews
through the whole project lifecycle. It is has unique functionality to
support the new and important process of competitive dialogue, and makes
evaluation on large multiple-activity framework agreements dramatically more
efficient. AWARD is also being used by suppliers to pre-evaluate proposals
before submission, to create proposals more in tune with client needs and
sensitive to buy-side evaluation methods," commented Steven Dey, Technical
Director, Commerce Decisions.
