Relief for Mums and Dads as Kids Get Back in Their Uniform

LONDON, September 4 /PRNewswire/ -- This week 63% of Mums and Dads across the UK will soon be breathing a
huge sigh of relief. Why? It's time to send the kids back to school! Even
though a third of Mums and Dads are concerned their children may not enjoy
school, 63% are still relieved to be sending their kids back to the more
structured routine of the school day, according to research conducted by
Teflon(R).

And when it comes to kids, three quarters don't tell their Mums and Dads
about the mischief they've been up to during the school day! They'd better
watch out though, as an enormous 80% of parents throughout most the UK, can
tell what their kids have been doing at school just by looking at the stains
on their school uniforms. Boys and girls in London and Northern Ireland
beware; your Mums and Dads are even more difficult to fool with over 90%
following your school day simply by studying your uniforms.

Parents perhaps look back on their own school days with rose-tinted
glasses with 1 in 3 claiming to have been goody-two-shoes who enjoyed their
time in the classroom. Only 8% of Mums and Dads admitted to being naughty and
rebellious whilst at school, with just 3% confessing to having a messy
uniform and overflowing desk. 37% of parents claimed that they always looked
smart in their uniform, enjoyed having a tidy desk and always made sure they
had finished their homework on time. So when it comes to collecting the kids
at the school gates Mums and Dads aren't very impressed with their
offspring's appearance, claiming that nearly 50% of boys and almost one third
of girls return from the school day with messy uniforms.

It's just as well George at Asda has created a range of schoolwear
featuring Advanced Dual Action DuPont(TM) Teflon(R) fabric protector. Not
only does Teflon(R) fabric protector repel common stains such as chocolate,
syrup and fruit juices, it also helps to release ground-in stains such as
ink, grass, mud or ketchup in the wash. It all helps keep kids looking
smarter for longer, no matter how messy they get at school.
