Wallis Takes on Expanded Role With OFS Portal

HOUSTON, January 7 /PRNewswire/ --

Dave Wallis has been named Europe-Africa-Middle East Representative for
OFS Portal, a global member-based group that works to advance open eCommerce
standards in the upstream oil and gas industry. For the last four years Dave
Wallis has been the OFS Portal European Representative, supporting its
membership through representation at various conferences and meetings with
numerous standards bodies in the European area, in addition to liaising with
oil and gas companies based in Europe.

"We are now seeing operators in new regions commencing strategy
discussions and pilot implementations, resulting in Dave now travelling
further afield outside Europe in support of OFS Portal and the industry,"
said William Le Sage, CEO of OFS Portal. "In 2007, Dave has made multiple
visits to the Middle East, Morocco and South Africa. It is entirely
appropriate that OFS Portal recognizes his successes and this geographic
expansion of his role."

Le Sage added that he expects Wallis will continue to support the API
Petroleum Industry Data Exchange as before, in this new enlarged area, along
with continuing his PIDX Committee and workgroup duties.
