Bridgewater Systems Signs Software Distribution Agreement With Motorola

OTTAWA, February 6 /PRNewswire/ --

- Motorola to Distribute Bridgewater Systems AAA Service Controller in
WiMAX Networks

Bridgewater Systems (TSX: BWC) today announced that Motorola, Inc. (NYSE:
MOT) will incorporate and distribute the Bridgewater Systems(TM) AAA Service
Controller as a key component in Motorola's WiMAX infrastructure solutions.
As a result, Motorola customers will benefit from a best of breed network
access control solution for advanced IP services.

Under the terms of this agreement, Motorola will have non-exclusive
global distribution rights for Bridgewater(R) products, and will provide
Motorola customers first and second line support services, customer training
as well as installation and integration services.

"Bridgewater Systems' AAA Service Controller is considered the gold
standard by many operators of 3G networks and their products will enhance our
overall end to end WiMAX solution offering," said Adolfo Masini, Motorola
vice president of WiMAX product management.

As a leader in subscriber-centric policy management solutions, including
network access control, Bridgewater Systems is providing Motorola with its
market-leading AAA Service Controller and associated modules. Recognized as
the most scalable and robust AAA solution of its kind, the AAA Service
Controller enables service providers to control access to advanced and
differentiated services simultaneously across fixed, mobile and common IP
backbone networks serving both WiMAX and 3G access technologies.

"This new relationship with Motorola will allow us to become a key
ecosystem supplier in the rapidly growing WiMAX market," commented Tyler
Nelson, vice president of business development and marketing for Bridgewater
Systems. He continued, "We are pleased Motorola has selected our
carrier-grade AAA solution which has already proven itself to be highly
scalable, reliable and can support the most demanding performance
requirements of tier one service provider deployments around the world."

The AAA Service Controller also features extensive mobile WiMAX support
such as multi-protocol RADIUS and Diameter support, mobile IP, subscriber and
device authentication as well as broad supplemental authentication protocols
such as EAP, EAP-TLS and EAP-TTLS. The AAA Service Controller is fully
compliant with the WiMAX Forum(R) NWG Stage 3 Release 1.0.0 specification for
mobile WiMAX.

The AAA Service Controller is able to support a wide array of access
networks and vendor equipment simultaneously from a single platform. With a
common policy and subscriber profile repository that serves all access
networks, service providers can create a unified view of subscribers, realize
operational efficiencies by eliminating the need to re-provision subscribers
as new access technologies such as CDMA EVDO Rev A and WiMAX are introduced,
and accelerate time to market for new services.
