Telecommunications Ltd., the only locally based mobile communications
provider for the Turks and Caicos Islands, has deployed Tecore's patented
solution supporting GSM and CDMA from a single converged platform. The all-IP
network bridges the technology spectrum providing connectivity for voice,
text messaging and packet data. The network will enable Islandcom to serve
both the local residents as well as the global tourist population that
frequents the islands. Tecore supplied a converged core platform, the GSM and

The iCore Network Center delivers an industry first: a software-defined
