Carbo Ceramics Inc. Announces Grand Opening of Russia Facility
IRVING, Texas, September 4 /PRNewswire/ -- CARBO Ceramics Inc. (NYSE: CRR) announced that it will host activities to recognize the grand opening of its new proppant production facility in Kopeysk, Russia. The plant has recently completed the start-up process and should reach full design capacity of 100 million pounds per year in the near future. It will produce CARBO's intermediate strength and lightweight proppants: CARBOProp(R) and CARBOLite(R). Marketing of CARBO products and services in Russia are coordinated through the company's sales office in Moscow.
