Helsbury Park Announces Dog Friendly Holiday Photo Finalists
CORNWALL, England, February 20 /PRNewswire/ -- - Helsbury Park, a Self-Catering Country Estate Set in 100 Acres of Parkland in North Cornwall, Today Revealed Their 2008 Dog Photo Competition Finalists Helsbury Park today announced that it has selected the sixteen finalists in its annual dog photography competition. Guests staying at the self-catering estate were encouraged to submit photographs around the theme of 'dog friendly holidays'. Popular subjects among this year's entry include racing on the nearby beaches, stalking for trout and flaking out on the sofa. Visitors to the Helsbury Park website (http://www.helsburypark.co.uk) now have the opportunity to vote for their favourite photo via an online poll (http://www.helsburypark.co.uk/poll/Photo_poll.asp). Voting closes at the end of March, with the winner being announced on April 1. "By putting the photos on our website and allowing people to vote for their favourite on-line, we've massively increased the interest in our competition," said Helsbury Park owner David Wilson. "We expect this year's competition to attract thousands of votes, there are some stunning photos, and we're really looking forward to seeing who comes out top dog."
