New Guinness World Record(TM) For DJ Fuelled by Vitamin Water Power
LONDON, September 5 /PRNewswire/ -- The power of a new vitamin water helped keep a DJ's turntable spinning for 101 hours to create a new Guinness World Record. DJ Karnter had his bottle of V Water beside him during a four and a half day marathon to break the world's previous longest DJ set record of 88 hours. Fans from around the world witnessed his struggle over the internet as he took regular sips of V Water to keep his voice going and that turntable on the move. Viewers also interacted with the DJ to donate to the Nordoff-Robins charity that provides music therapy for children and adults in need. The record attempt started at 0800 hrs GMT on 28th August and finished at 1300 GMT on Saturday 1st September.
