Crisp Increases its Leading Child Protection Solutions With the Acquisition of IMSafer

- Approved by and Distributed on Behalf of Crisp Thinking

Crisp, the UK child safety technology specialist, has
completed the acquisition of US-based competitor IMSafer to become the
world's foremost provider of proactive parental tools and child protection
solutions for the Internet.

IMSafer is one of the United States' most-recognised Internet
child safety brands. In less than 15 months, it has helped protect over
135,000 registered users in the US from the threat of online abuse and
bullying.

The purchase of IMSafer will provide Crisp with the capability
to enter the lucrative North American market, elevating the company to the
position of the leading global exponent of proactive Internet child
protection.

With a shared vision of keeping children safe on the Internet
without removing their freedom, this acquisition now creates a unique company
in the online child protection market.

Launched in Texas in 2006, IMSafer's software (http://www.imsafer.com)
identifies abusive and sexual keywords and phrases and immediately informs
parents of the inappropriate online conversations or social network postings.
This complements Crisp's relationship analysis tools, which detect the
increasingly sophisticated grooming approaches used by more devious predators
in Instant Messaging (IM) chat.

The integrated technologies of Crisp and IMSafer will offer
parents, Internet Service Providers (ISPs), Social Networks and mobile
network operators the perfect solution to keep children safe from online
predators.

IMSafer will become Crisp Thinking (U.S.), Inc and will retain
the majority of its founding designers and developers who will report to
Crisp's UK management team. Following the acquisition Crisp is also
relocating IMSafer from Houston, Texas to Portland, Oregon. Crisp will retain
the IMSafer product identity in the United States to build on its existing
brand-awareness.

Andrew Burke, Crisp's Chairman, said: "Crisp is going from
strength to strength and this acquisition of IMSafer significantly expands
our product offering and the markets we are active in. Protecting people and
relationships is the latest stage of evolution of the IT security market. In
the past twenty years the sector has been focused on data back up, viruses
and the protection of personal information. Crisp is now leading the market
to use our technology to protect the people sat behind the PCs, specifically
children."

Andrew Lintell, Crisp's Chief Executive Officer, said: "This
acquisition brings together the sector's two leading exponents of proactive
online child protection. It will allow Crisp to create more robust and
comprehensive child protection systems, which will make it even harder for
predators to snare children through inappropriate online relationships."

Tommy McClung, co-founder of IMSafer, Inc and the new General
Manager of Crisp Thinking (U.S.), Inc, said: "The overriding goals of both
Crisp and IMSafer are to protect children from online predators. Together we
provide a unique proposition, which allows young people the freedom to
explore the Internet while giving parents the peace of mind that their
children are being protected.

"Internet grooming is a global issue and this acquisition
presents a fantastic opportunity to share and build-upon the technological
advances both companies have made."

Editor's Notes:

Crisp

Crisp was established in Leeds, United Kingdom in 2005 and
employs 30 people.

Crisp's software analyses the content of online conversations
to indentify inappropriate relationships that are initiated by predators
wanting to groom, and potentially abuse, children.

Independently tested by Cambridge University researchers to be
98.4% effective in identifying inappropriate relationships, the technology
detects grooming by recognising the ways abusers behave. It works alongside,
and does not conflict with, existing anti-virus and spyware technology.

When Crisp detects a potential grooming conversation, it will
alert parents by email or text message. However, only the parts of
conversations Crisp identifies as potentially dangerous can be seen by
parents, which protect young people's privacy.

IMSafer's Technology

IMSafer analyses children's instant messaging (IM)
conversations for dangerous, inappropriate or threatening words, phrases and
themes.

IMSafer is a security tool, but it is not spyware; IMSafer's
engine maintains a child's privacy by not providing parents with full
transcripts of IM conversations but instead only those parts that are
dangerous and contain relevant content. IMSafer gives parents peace of mind
knowing that their children protected using IM at home, in school or on a
library computer.

IMSafer uses an advanced language interpretation engine to
scan IM conversations and sends an immediate e-mail or SMS alert to parents
when it detects dangerous interaction.
