National Association for Female Executives (NAFE) Goes Global
NEW YORK, June 9 /PRNewswire/ -- - Working Mother Media Launches International NAFE in South Africa South African women business owners and entrepreneurs will join together at the I-NAFE Breakfast on August 7th at The Michelangelo Hotel in Johannesburg to celebrate the launch of International NAFE (I-NAFE), a community of global women in business. The event will speak to women business owners and entrepreneurs and aid them in improving their businesses and networking strategies. The National Association for Female Executives (NAFE) -- the largest women's professional association in the United States -- will launch I-NAFE with its parent company, Working Mother Media. I-NAFE, a virtual central network linking women's organizations, globally, provides members the ability to connect and learn from other women both in their own and other countries all online. I-NAFE.com will feature discussion boards, statistics, special reports on women in international business, web seminars, a CEO forum and other information that will help women owned businesses grow and succeed. I-NAFE.com is set to launch at the I-NAFE Breakfast, and will feature an exciting keynote speaker, a panel of small business owners and networking. "I have heard countless stories from women business owners all over the world, who have terrific ideas and services to bring to market. The launch of the I-NAFE network will provide needed access to information, tools, resources and connections for women business owners, globally," says Marilyn Johnson, IBM, Vice President of Market Development. Betty Spence, Ph.D., President of NAFE, explains that the organization has chosen to launch its virtual network in South Africa because "markets for women know no national borders, and the reality of business today is that it's global. The I-NAFE network is an exciting new opportunity for women to expand their contacts and start doing business with other I-NAFE members around the world." Attendees of the I-NAFE Breakfast will be granted immediate membership, as will past attendees of the Global Advancement of Women Conferences held in Toronto in 2006 and Brazil in 2007. The I-NAFE Breakfast will run adjacent to the Working Mother Media's South Africa Global Advancement of Women Conference being held in Johannesburg on August 8. IBM is the Visionary and Host Sponsor of the I-NAFE Breakfast and the South Africa Global Advancement of Women Conference. For more information, please visit www.EventsByWMM.com.
