Andreas J. Goss Appointed Chief Executive at Siemens in the UK


FRIMLEY, England, June 10 /PRNewswire/ --

- Andreas J. Goss has Been Appointed Chief Executive of Siemens
in the UK and North West Europe.

Andreas J. Goss, who has been Chief Financial Officer in the
UK since April 2006, will take on the role with immediate effect. Andreas J.
Goss first joined Siemens in 1985 and held a number of management assignments
within Siemens in the USA and Germany before his position as CFO of Siemens
plc in the UK. Besides his role at Siemens, Goss is also a member of the
Economic Affairs Committee of the Confederation of British Industry.

Horst J. Kayser, the current chief executive, is leaving
Siemens to pursue a new career as chief executive at KUKA AG, Augsburg
(Germany).

Roland Jaksch will take over from Goss as Chief Financial
Officer in the UK and North West Europe from 1 July 2008. Roland Jaksch joins
from his position as CFO for Draeger Medical, a joint venture company between
Siemens and Draeger and one of the world's leading manufacturers of medical
equipment.
