Clinsys Clinical Research, Inc. Announces Key Hires, Rajagopalan Srinivasan, Ph.D, to Strengthen Global Biostatistics Service Offering and Christopher Gregory, Ph.D, to Scientific Affairs

Clinsys Clinical Research, Inc., a therapeutically focused clinical
research organization, today announced the appointments of Rajagopalan
Srinivasan, Ph.D as Vice President, Global Biostatistics and Christopher
Gregory, Ph.D as Scientific Affairs-Director.

head up our global biostatistics service offering, brings substantial
expertise in biostatistics directly relating to our key therapeutic areas of
Oncology, Cardiovascular and CNS. Dr. Gregory, who will serve as a senior
scientific advisor for our clinical project teams, brings a wealth of direct
pharmaceutical research development and academic experience to support our
global regulatory and scientific affairs services."
Dr. Srinivasan has over 25 years of experience in biostatistics with
regulated drug industry and medical research, including 10 years working at
the FDA. He has held a number of senior management positions in the drug
development industry, most recently as Vice President, Global Biostatistics
with a global clinical research organization. During his tenure at the FDA,
Dr. Srinivasan provided statistical guidance to regulated industry in each
step of drug development (Pre-IND, IND, End of Phase II, pre-NDA, NDA as well
as post-marketing Phase IV commitments). Dr. Srinivasan has taught
Biostatistics/Statistics at the George Washington University, Washington, DC
and is currently an adjunct Professor of Biostatistics at University of
Virginia, Charlottesville, Virginia. He received his B. Sc. (Honors), M.A.
and M. Phil degrees in Statistics from the University of Madras in India, his
Masters in Biostatistics from Florida State University, Tallahassee, Florida
and his Doctorate in Biostatistics from the University of Georgia, Athens,
Georgia.
Dr. Gregory has over 15 years of biotechnology/pharmaceutical and
academic experience. Prior to joining Clinsys, he served as Vice President,
Research for Voyager Pharmaceutical Corporation in Raleigh, North Carolina.
While at Voyager, he was responsible for directing all internal research
programs and advising on external programs as they related to indications in
CNS and Oncology, provided management of their laboratory and scientific
teams, provided guidance in product development and participated in authoring
patent applications as an inventor. Dr. Gregory was a Research Assistant
Professor in The Laboratories for Reproductive Biology; Research Assistant
Professor in the Department of Surgery, Division of Urology; Assistant
Professor and currently serves as Adjunct Assistant Professor in the
Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at the University of North
Carolina at Chapel Hill, North Carolina. He earned his Doctorate in Anatomy
at Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio and a Bachelor of Science Degree
in Biology at Concord College in Athens, West Virginia.
