Ringdale Introduces the ModuLAN(R) FaxReceiver(TM) 4-in-1 Fax-to-E-Mail Appliance

AUSTIN, Texas, July 31 /PRNewswire/ -- Ringdale, Inc., a technology leader in network enhancing connectivity
solutions, today introduced the ModuLAN(R) FaxReceiver(TM) MFR-400, a 4-in-1
fax-to-e-mail appliance that connects directly to four analogue fax lines and
a single Ethernet network and consolidates them into a data center rack
space. FaxReceiver MFR-400 enables high volume incoming faxes to be sent
automatically to an e-mail inbox or routed via Ringdale's FollowMe(R)
Q-Server secure document output management solution.

FaxReceiver now comes in two versions: FaxReceiver MFR-400 is the 4-in-1
rack mount chassis version and FaxReceiver MFR-200 is the single analogue fax
line version. Both products offer significant savings of paper and other
consumables as well as increased office efficiency. Rather than having to be
picked up at a fax machine, documents arrive immediately at the
administrator's e-mail inbox. Mail servers can be set up to copy more than
one person, so e-mails may be picked up while on the move.

Other FaxReceiver benefits include:

    - Increased security since the FaxReceiver can be located in
the data center, consolidating infrastructure and centralizing
      management.
    - Automated conversion and distribution of the faxed documents to
e-mail, providing easy re-distributed capabilities as well as
integration into third-party applications or for archiving.
    - Low power consumption with high reliability, as there are no
moving parts to be maintained or paper to be supplied. On average, only
20% of business communication in electronic format is actually printed
      out, resulting in further savings.
    - Mounts directly into any 19" rack enclosure.
    - Integrates directly with Ringdale's FollowMe Q-Server secure
      document output management solution.
