The British trade journal ACQ Finance Magazine has singled out
the acquisition of the e-commerce player Tradus plc by the South African
print and online media corporation Naspers (JSE: NPN) as the "Deal of the
Year".

Christian Unger, former CEO of Tradus and today, as CEO of MIH
Internet Europe, responsible for the European Internet Division of Naspers,
is delighted by the Award: "The acquisition was a complete success for both
Tradus and Naspers. It has strengthened our position as the leading
e-commerce company in Central and Eastern Europe." Unger initiated the deal
at the end of 2007 while still CEO at Tradus plc and brought it to a
successful conclusion at the beginning of this year. In the meantime, the
integration of the Tradus Group into the Naspers corporation is complete. In
an in-depth interview with the ACQ Magazine, Christian Unger speaks about the
deal. Naspers unites well-known online auction marketplaces such as
Allegro.pl in Poland or Ricardo.ch in Switzerland under the umbrella of MIH
