Rohde & Schwarz and Runcom Launch a WiMAX(TM) Mass Production Test Solution
RIO DE JANEIRO, December 3 /PRNewswire/ -- Runcom Technologies Ltd., the leading supplier and developer of fixed and mobile WiMAX(TM) solutions, and Rohde & Schwarz, a global leader in wireless communications test and measurement, announced the completion of a scalable turnkey solution for a mass production line for mobile stations, based on Runcom's OFDMA technology. The Rohde & Schwarz R&S(R)CMW270 WiMAX communication tester simultaneously calibrates Runcom's mobile stations over both the Tx and Rx paths, and verifies the mobile stations' compliance with the WiMAX(TM) standard IEEE802.16e-2005, so that the device is ready to market. "The Rohde & Schwarz R&S(R)CMW270 all-in-one test solution makes high-speed production line tests almost 30 % faster than a traditional setup.
