Cognito Celebrates Record Year With 4,100 Users Signed

NEWBURY, England, January 27 /PRNewswire/ -- Cognito, the Mobile Workforce Management specialist, today
announced that it has closed its financial year with a record signing of
4,100 subscribers, the most successful year in the company's history. The
company's success has continued into the new financial year, with the
addition of a further 1,600 users so far taking the total number of
subscribers beyond 20,000.

Cognito has also achieved Microsoft Gold Partnership status
and has been elevated to a Motorola PartnerSelect Premier Solution Partner.
Its success was also reflected in a number of key customer wins and extended
deployments across a spectrum of industry sectors including a&o, Alpha
Heating, GSH Group, Lorne Stewart and Scottish Borders Housing Association.

Commenting on the results, John Pocock, Cognito's Chairman,
stated: "Companies are increasingly seeing mobility as a vital strategic
element for success: with fuel prices in fluctuation and an uncertain
economy, finding ways to improve the efficiency and potential of the mobile
workforce is essential for organisations looking to improve their bottom
line. Thanks to our ability to offer a full end-to-end solution including
software, infrastructure, consultancy and implementation, such companies
continue to approach us for expertise." He continued: "Cognito has made
important steps this year towards being the supplier of choice for all mobile
data applications, signing a record number of new customers and passing the
20,000 subscriber mark. The company has continued to develop its expertise in
complex mobile data system implementations and our customers are taking
advantage by implementing increasingly sophisticated solutions for large
numbers of users."

Cognito's net profit registered a 110% increase on last year,
pushing annual turnover above target to just under GBP9 million with the
consultancy arm of the company performing especially well. These strategic
consultancy relationships with organisations such as Addison Lee have been
keystones in Cognito's 2008 success.
