- OEM Agreement Enhances Long-Term Information Retention Capabilities

Applimation, Inc., the leading independent provider of enterprise data
management solutions for use with solutions from SAP(R), Oracle(R),
PeopleSoft(R) and Siebel(R) as well as custom applications, announced today
that it will embed archive store technology from UK-based software company
Clearpace Software in its Applimation Informia(TM) Archive solution. This OEM
agreement and strategic partnership will enable Applimation to deliver the
most cost-effective and complete solution for the long-term retention of
structured data to its customers.

This agreement extends Applimation's world-class application data
management capabilities, enabling organizations to move historical data from
bloated production databases into highly compressed, secure and accessible
archive stores which are fully accessible through standard SQL technologies.
The new archive store from Clearpace will provide long-term information
retention and retrieval capabilities that surpass alternative data
repositories and XML. Using Clearpace NParchive, Applimation customers will
be able to greatly reduce the cost and complexity of storing and managing
historical information.
